Two doctors at Bay Area Naturopathic Medicine maintain the highest levels of accreditation and pursue ongoing education to stay abreast of the latest trends in the naturopathic medical field.


  • Dr. Huynh
    Kevan Q. Huynh, N.D., L.Ac.
    Naturopathic Doctor and a Licensed Acupuncturist

    Dr. Huynh integrates both naturopathic and Chinese medicine to treat patients. He strives to educate patients and facilitate awareness of the growing concern regarding modern chronic illnesses that include but are not limited to autoimmune disease, cardiovascular disease, diabetes, obesity, and cancer.

    Dr. Huynh not only maintains a general family practice but also one that includes cancer care. His expertise in cancer care is the result of independent training with leading experts in the field. He continues to collaborate with local oncologists to provide the best care for his cancer patients, utilizing cancer supportive therapies, including Biotherapeutic Drainage, Classical Chinese Medicine, and herbal medicines. 

    Dr. Huynh's patients include cancer survivors, cancer recurrences, and active cancer patients.

    Dr. Huynh graduated from the National College of Natural Medicine with a degree in Naturopathic Medicine and an M.S. in Oriental Medicine.

    Dr. Huynh is licensed by the California Acupuncture Board and a member of the California Naturopathic Doctors Association.

    Having the knowledge of western medicine with Chinese medicine, Dr. Chan can provide an integrative approach to health.  Dr. Chan considers herself to be a partner in the healing process and encourages patients to be proactive about their health.  She emphasizes prevention and self-care for her patients and takes the time to investigate the root cause of disease.

    Dr. Chan specializes in the treatment of HPV and cervical dysplasia by providing a personalized approach that involves determining which dietary and lifestyle recommendations one should follow, as well as which specific herbs and supplements are best for healing and ensuring optimum results.

    Dr. Chan performs cervical escharotic treatments as a natural treatment alternative for patients with HPV and cervical dysplasia. She also treats patients who have had previous LEEP procedures or Cone Biopsies in order to heal HPV and prevent recurrences. Dr. Chan’s treatments have helped women in the greater San Francisco Bay Area, as well as nationally and worldwide.

    Dr. Chan graduated from the National College of Natural Medicine in Portland, Oregon.  

    Dr. Chan is licensed by the California Acupuncture Board and a member of the California Naturopathic Doctors Association and the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine.

While two people may present the same condition, our treatments are individualized and holistic.
